R.I.P. MJ

Michael Jackson was the king of pop. He died at a very young age. MJ will truly be missed not only by us in America but by the world. I wanted to write a blog the day that he died but it was kind of hard to do so. My prayers goes out to the Jackson family and friends. R.I.P MICHAEL JACKSON ~1958-2009~

Unsigned is a blog about artist that I know or who I have come to know via facebook, myspace, or twitter. This blog is for promotional purposes. The members of Prime Time are Mr. Smooth and Bran Deezy. They were born and raised in Lithonia GA and that's where they currently live. Their Genre of music is Rap. Prime Time was inspired to rap by all the rappers before them who started out from nothing and came up into something through their hard-work and dedication. The group’s first single is called “Make It Look Easy” and it was inspired by America’s first African American President, Barack Obama. The song represents positive achievement on all levels.

GET MONEY TEAM (G.M.T)



The members of G.M.T which stands for Get Money Team are QuisY, B.Hop, and SpoonIE. They live in Milwaukee, WI. There genre of music is hip hop. The 3 Young men rap about the everyday lives of young black males. One of the members stated that they ONLY rap about what they really do and he said that’s rare to find in hip hop groups. He said “everything we rap about is straight honesty and we are trying to put Milwaukee on the map”. He also stated that they are not just a group, they are a movement. There Mixtape, “We Here”, will be out July 4th.

Romero Sanders aka Da' Colonel was Born in Milwaukee, WI. He writes all genres of music. Da' Colonel writes music to help him relieve stress. He stated that he personally likes sad music but, right now its best to stay relevant. He said he still makes those records but times are so bad that he feels like you can’t keep reminding people of sad things so, happy/club music is what frees the mind of it all. Da’ Colonel believes that Music allows you to be yourself and he said he thinks that is where other artist or just people in general go wrong. He said “you have to be true to yourself before you can put yourself in other situations”. Genesis- The Beginning

June 15, 2009 many people like myself were up late waiting for Troy Taylor to release the Free Genesis download by Trey Songz. The album Genesis is "the beginning of it all". People if you want to know how Trey sounded when he was just a teen, listen to Genesis. Genesis tells a story of a young man growing up and facing stuggles that many of us have faced. It spoke about situations that im pretty sure many of us have been through at least once in our lives. One of the main reasons I am a "Go Hard" Trey Songz fan is because Trey is not ashamed of his past and he knows that his past is a stepping stone that has got him where he is today. I believe that Genesis has shown me how much Trey has grown as an artist. His vocal skills have excel since Genesis and they continue to excel in my opinion. For the people who are not familiar with what Ready is, im going to put yall up on game. Ready is an album that is set to drop August 4, 2009 by Trey Songz. Ladies I dont know if yall ready but I am definitely ready for ready. Trey Songz has wild us all with his recent songs Ego, Death oF auto tunes, Always twisted, and you belong to me. He has made our hearts melt by calling his fans phones to show them love and shouting them out on ustream. Trey Songz has shown us that with out his fans and his stong values that his mom, grand mother, and aunts instilled in him, he would not be the man he is today.
